Rap music is it responsible for drugs, sex, violence, crime and guns in the black communities?

Musicians let alone a rap artist are role models to a certain extent whether some choose to acknowledge this. Speaking about anything people will listen to the things you talk about. Whether it will change the way people think based off what their dealing with in their personal life. Can music help or keep them where their at. That is why its important to think before you speak about anything know what your talking about. A lot of the things rappers talk about do influence the audiences that listen to them. It is up to the audience to believe or forget that artist. If you talk about smoking and fashion it like its the thing to do. Then others will take heed and follow as directed. Like they aint got a mind of their own. People are just people. that is what regular people tend to forget about an artist.

Putting them on a pedastal like they have to be perfect.Assuming they can't have flaws in their personal life. Let alone which is not to be misconstrued with their rap careers. We all know what goes down in our communities and in these streets. Rappers who are large voices of these communities could speak on whats really going on. Could speak about change yet they know that. Change will only happen when the people who listen to rappers more then they listen to themselves notice they are leaders themselves. Most rappers feel like it wont change so why should i be the jesus of rap when others aint being that way. This is negative thinking which produced in music. Does influence youngsters and old folks who are from the lifestyle. To never leave that type of thinking alone its to deeply embedded in. Once they know that they can portray their own message will it contribute to violence or a resolution?

If you favorite rapper has a gun you gone get one why? Because you think he is portraying that or because he is protecting himself. We as blacks and a people have to stop getting the facts mixed. This is a cold world and to make it. Its sad to know people might have to kill someone in the process in order to defend them self. Especially if people in general know more about their favorite artist. Than the media and corporations or government officials who many times cause the dabble of caos in the communities worldwide. Many artist who speak of hardcore things still live those lives because that is what they come from and many people can relate. Many of the artist have not lived the life of highclass rappers. Most of them still live in their home born and raised communities. Using rap as a tool to vent what they see yet never to get folks twisted even though people do get twisted. All the while there is a parental advisory control on album releases that tells parents that you should raise your own kids. If they listen do not blame the music. For explaning whats really going on and what your kids might start or already is doing.

Rap music should not influence people but it does. Ironically when the people who listen to it don't like some of the artist they listen to. Which is responsible for the guns rappers need to protect themselves because, they are running a business. Like any business coming from the street you need protection. Lawyers, guns, in case an over enthusiatic fan acting like one really a dis believer of that musicians craft. Gets out of line and have to set them straight. The music has nothing to do with that part. Regular people who don't know the business of the music sometimes get caught up in all what they see. That is what influences those who are truly unaware of themselves even if they live adult lives. That goes for any business if you dont know the rules of course you will get caught up. Believe the hype and think its all about what you see instead of what a rapper or business entity is doing.

Music is music at first and when you reach a certain level in your business you shall get properly rewarded. At that point is where the drugs and sex come in. Is anything wrong with living your life to the fullest that is what GOD intended. People will admire or simply hate and that is what the artist talk about. The things they go through to get to where their at. What they still have facing them, that they thuoght they left behind. What is good in the business and what is bad. Their is so many ways you can look at this topic. For one rap music is so diverse. That you can't classify just rap as an influence of anything. You do have artist that don't have wild sex orgies and half naked women in their videos. Disgrace woman and treat them like 5 dollar prositutues even the good looking ones and loyal woman. You do have artist that are fully conscoius and aware of the power of words. What they can do to change a people or persons attitude towards them. Their society and the realities of what is songs can do. In the black communities the reason most males who turn to their GOD given talents. Speak of the violence that they feel won't stop because they don't want it to. They like the lifestyle it brings not being able to work hard. Set goals outside of the thug crimnial or hustler mind. Unfortunately some of those artist were forced into a criminal record. That is a different story all together.

The music does play a large part depending on what audience it caters to. The older adults know better yet sometimes won't change. In attempts of being afraid. A grown man sounding soft or girly in his sound. This is just addressing a conscious thought. Where their is artist who know that only the people can fix the communities. Their is music out their in rap for every style and you have to decide. Is it the music or the listener once you know better. It is the people and the people influence the music really. Basically if they don't like the rapper he can't survive no matter what he says. An artist craft just won't cross over to success and sell units. Once you take a liking to a certain type of music. Its hard to take a different view in that music. Which is why the violence exist because the people who choose not to change know change is possible. They just don't want to let go of their lifestyle. It is to easy to do whatever they want. Have people look up to them and act like they cant change.

Change is possible for those who start to believe. The reason the beefs and fueds exist is because these same clicks who get a little fame and money. Get big headed and start wars for no reason. Ja Rule,50 Cent, Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z, and many other artist. Say they never talk about beef it would not exist. Influencing other artist to change according to whats the hottest out. When the artist do that who are in the industry. Imagine what the fans who like certain artist will do. When they see their favorite artist taking a liking to the most popular artist. Instead of taking a look at more down to earth artist. That don't condone the violence that keeps the black communities in filth and disgrace of one another and leading to many deaths.

Yes rap music is responsible as well as the big record labels who know the power of these artist. Who are out here keeping the laws of jim crow in effect in this present day. If rap music was not responsible even though people have their own minds. Then how come artist who are alternative but its still rap dont get aired like Tupac, 50-cent, Biggie or Eminem. When Eminem came out i seen a change in the way a lot of caucasion descneted teenagers and even adults started to act like ha the best rapper is white. When we all know that if black can't support themselves hardly. How can they support their artist. Those with money can see its not about Eminem being the best. Even though he can rhyme and flow. Its about who has the money and is their communities suffereing financial as well as other attack. Whether they can keep supporting their black artist who should dominate a industry they started. That is a whole different question.

A artist is a artist and been should not lead to death. Well what is it soon as a black artist has a beef. He has to go handle it like a man. Bring his guns (which were not made in America) so you see their is something bigger than music going on. The music does influence black people and other culture's. It has a lot to do with blacks basically just as a people. Their mainstream music aint talking about nothing but violence and drugs. What they balling with and getting talking about killing people love it. At the end of the song not day a person should know better. Not still getting caught up in the glamour side and can't let go of the streets and keep the drama living. Then you will continually see the violence exist drugs, sex and guns will devastate. keep on devasting our communities that we still live in.Communities we could be making large money from notless of what the government makes.

You see the people are the music and if the music they most enjoy which is controlled by certain regualted airwaves. To control their thinking and the artist know better and they people don't. The artist put that out their but dont really want them to do that. Then it should be on them as people who choose to get caught up in that lifestyle. Rap music not only contributes to the way of life in the communities as a voice of reality. It also controls how the communities act and react and could change but choose not to when they dont know the solution to the problem is within them.

Entertainment should just be entertainment it shouldnt be to serious and to funny but real life is real life. Artist are people when they leave the shows, and the videos and the fly suites and the fancy ceremonies go right back into their shell. That is the only reason people go into entertainment to live a life they never dreamed of. When it happens to them the communities they come from should be more supportive of their endeavors. You see we live in a time where people don't like to see each other make way. That is where the influence comes from a life of struggle. Some rappers say ok man people wont leave me alone i got power thats your a_ _. People do see the outside of an artist. How they carry themselves what they are into and everything. You never know those same people who influence and condone violence and know they impact it makes on the community. May just be a kid at heart mad at the world for treating them so wrong. Along the way and care less if people fall by the way side due to whatever occurence based off the artist appeal to that generation. Black communities need realize the longer they filter in their minds what keeps them held down. The more our communities will be without unity in our minds and souls. looking away from artist who speak of no foolishness they want to endure no more. Then the corruption will steadlity exist. Rap music does influence the people so if you were the next big industy rapper. What could you talk about that ain't negative. When poeple don't wanna hear whats positive all the time, because they are used to hearing what's negative. Especially when the system keeps the communities that way. The music only explains whats going on. Music could change what's going on but, the people have to be willing to accept change. Alternatives in compared to the normal saturated artist and constructively work towards it.
