Travis Barker and DJ AM Critically Injured in Plane Crash That Killed Four

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were involved in a plane crash late Friday night that killed four people.

The pair were among six people onboard a Learjet that crashed during takeoff from a Columbia, South Carolina airport and they are currently in critical condition.

Barker and DJ AM perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM and played at the MTV Video Music Awards a few weeks ago.

They gave a free Friday night concert at a college event with former Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw.

Barker, 32, was driven to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia, about 75 miles southwest of Columbia, while DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein), 35, was airlifted to the same facility.

As of Saturday morning they were both in critical but stable condition.

According to South Carolina's Lexington County coroner, the four others who were killed in the crash are: pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker's assistant Chris Baker, 26, also of Los Angeles.

Chris, who was known as "Little Chris," was a newlywed and his wife just had a baby.

Lynne Douglas, spokesperson for the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, tells PEOPLE the weather was beautiful when the Learjet left the runway after midnight Friday.

She explains, "The plane crashed on takeoff and went through a fence near Highway 302, then crossed the road and went up an embankment before being filled with flames."

"There was debris all over the runway."

Travis and DJ AM escaped by opening the door of the plane and jumping out right after it crashed and was already on fire.

Travis is said to be burned from the waist down and it is thought that he will survive. DJ AM suffered serious burns to his face.

The Learjet was bound for Van Nuys, California, at the time of the crash.

In addition to his work with Blink 182, Travis also formed the rock band +44 and co-starred on MTV's MEET THE BARKERS with former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, who was his wife at the time.

DJ AM was once engaged to Nicole Richie and most recently dated Mandy Moore.

So sad...

Natalie Cole Hospitalized In New York

Singer Natalie Cole has been hospitalized in New York for the past week.

She checked in last Friday after she became sick on a press tour.

A source explains, "She was doing press in New York last week when she got really sick due to chemotherapy she was undergoing to treat her hepatitis."

"She got anemia from the treatment."

The 58-year-old announced that she was suffering from hepatitis C this summer.

The R&B singer wrote about being a hot mess in her 2000 autobiography ANGEL ON MY SHOULDER and admitted to using LSD, heroin and cocaine.

Doctors believe she contracted the hepatitis C virus 25 years ago when she was abusing heroin.

Natalie is expected to return home to Los Angeles in the next few days and will be on month-long bed rest to recuperate.

Feel better soon.

Is Elisabeth Hasselbeck Ditching The View For Fox News?

Is Elisabeth Hasselbeck Ditching The View For Fox News?

Rumors are doing the rounds that Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be leaving THE VIEW and jumping over to Fox News.

It's like the mothership is calling her home!

Sources tell the NATIONAL ENQUIRER that she's "just as tired of the ladies at THE VIEW as they are of her" and "feels she constantly has to defend herself."

"Elisabeth feels she can't win at THE VIEW, but she's been told by friends at FOX NEWS that they'd find a spot for her without hesitation."

Although Elisabeth annoys the hell out of us, her meltdowns are the only reason to occasionally check in with the yakking yentas these days.

No if we can somehow just get rid of Sherri Shepard.

How Does Dylan Feel About Being Kelly's Baby Daddy?? Meh.

How Does Dylan Feel About Being Kelly's Baby Daddy?? Meh.

This week we finally learned that Dylan McKay was the father of Kelly Taylor's son Sammy on 90210.

We haven't seen a baby daddy drama this big since Dannielynn.

Luke Perry has spoken out about the plot twist and isn't exactly impressed.

When asked about how he felt about Dylan being the father he sniped, "They own the name and likeness."

When asked if he would be retuning to the show, he added, "That would be a no."

Instead Perry will be doing a legitimate acting gig on the season premiere of LAW AND ORDER: SVU next week.

If they knew Luke was going to be such a douche, why didn't they just make Brandon Walsh the daddy and let him direct a couple of episodes.

Because all anyone really wants to do is direct.

Sarah Jessica Talks About Sex and the City Sequel

The cast of SEX AND THE CITY came together last night for the DVD release party and of course they were all talking about a possible sequel.

Although it's not official, there is an excellent chance writer Michael Patrick King will head back to his laptop and continue to try and milk this cash cow.

Regarding the sequel, Sarah Jessica Parker said she and MPK will "have that conversation sooner rather than later."

She explained, "It's all about the story. If we can't tell a story that's really worthy of an audience, then we won't do it."

SJP, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall all showed up at the premiere - but apparently Kristen Davis had to stay in Los Angeles for work.

We just looked her up on IMDB and she isn't filming anything at the moment and what could be more important than SATC?

We want Charlotte!

Meanwile, SJP debuted a new look.

We hated it at first because we thought it made her look matronly, but the Audrey Hepburn thing is kind of growing on us.
