i tried giving Bush the benefit of the doubt his first term but after being re-elected(which i think was totally corrupted in some way)he kept getting worse and worse. when his own cabinet stops backing him that spoke more words than anything ever could have. im sorry you think different about him cuz your fighting a losing battle in my opinion. while Bush was president i was actually embarrassed to be an American. Obama cant change everything in one term but i he is definetly the start of it!!!!!!!!!

Why are you yelling? Would it kill you to use a period once in a while?

And not EVERYONE wanted a war after 9/11. What we wanted was the culprit behind it i.e. OSAMA BIN LADEN. In what frame of mind was it a good idea to go into Iraq when Bin Laden's is in Afghanistan. It's not even the same country! Someone failed geography--- or should have used "The Google".

And the only real reason that Bush "won" the second time was because Kerry looked really out of place. He was presidential like.

And the stock market crashes resulted from all the major companies eating the smaller companies and collapsing on themselves and Bush's obsession for "EVERYONE IN AMERICA TO OWN A HOME." In what frame of the imagination was it cool to give at-risk people loans that lenders KNEW they wouldn't pay back? WaMu's slogan went from "Woo Hoo!" to "Oh Sh!t!"

And No Child Left Behind is a joke... most of those kids are still at that bus stop waiting for that damn bus....

And Bush was such a great president. A president that ousted a democratically elected president, aided in the execution of another, and dropped the BALL in the wake of the worst natural disaster in history (Katrina).

Believe what you want to believe but the rest of us (and the world at large) would like a president that is willing to listen, won't be so damn secretive and actually knows how form complete sentences without having people arch their eyebrows in confusion.

#1 He started the war with a country that had nothing to do with 911 and since he has started the war taliban has grown to be in many other countries. So I take it we are suppose to start wars with those countries also. The terrorists that were on those planes on 911 were from Afghanistan but yet as of today there are more American soldiers in Iraq than Afghanistan. Thats smart right, to me and this is my opinion Bush started the Iraqi war because if his father. He wanted to finish what his father started. But no one can change what has happened so it is better to just move on from what has happened.


#2 Not only did the stock market crash, almost everyone in America has been financially set back due to Bush. Lets see higher gas prices, employers letting people go and blaming it on the recession, hmmm must i go on. You obviously do not follow elections to better educate yourself on what happens in elections. He cheated on both elections and if you educated yourself you would know that the great prez you speak of is a cheater. But unlike you I will support my opinions with facts. In the 200 election, we all know that Al Gore won the election but Bush's good old brother the governor of florida in the state that demands a recount, hmmm looks suspicious to me. Al Gore had the electoral college votes before the recount and all of sudden after the recount Bush won, anyone with common sense can see thats suspicious. Oh and the movie Recount will give you better insight on the 2000 election. Enough with the 2000 election lets fast forward to 2004, as history shows whatever presidential candidate wins ohio wins the presidency. so after the 2000 election there were people who took phone calls from people who were mistreated at polls. One state that had the most complaints was, you can only guess, Ohio, so the team of people went to investigate what happened. I seen a show called End the Blackout but I am sure you did not see that at all because you would not question how he cheated. Anyways in urban areas the election officials took away voting machines so minorities would have to stand in lines for hours and in suburbs voting machines were added. This was done so miniorities who statisically vote democrat would not vote at all or get discouraged from voting due to the long lines. And a lot of people were given what we call an provisional ballot and if anyone has experience with those you know that it is up to the election officials to count your vote. And I myself was directed to vote on a provisional ballot in 2008 which i turned down because my vote wouldnt have counted. In fact they only count provisional and abstintee ballots if the election is too close to call. Meaning in this so called great country every vote does not count, that is a very untrue statement. But I believe that everything happens for a reason so Bush was president for a reason and i guess it was to show Americans and whomever has that feeling that America is so great and all that mess will know that shit can be just as it is in any other country. The superior atttitude of Americans is what caused all of this chaos. Yes we are better off than most countries but God has the power and He controls what goes on in this world so He showed everyone that America is no better than the next country.


Obama will have a movie on his life just as the Jackson 5, Michael Jordan, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, do you get my point? Okay so what there are other important leaders that have movies. And if I am not mistaken the most recent movie I have heard of on a president is called W i think or whatever it is called and is about Mr. Bush himself so that is pointless. McCain is a hero to you, okay thats fine and all so I guess every person who has fought in a war should have a movie of their life now. Thats how you make it seem like everybody can be a hero but that does not make anyone better than anyone else so what does it matter if a movie comes out about Obama he is a part of history so juat as there a movies about 911 and Pearl Harbor, there will be one on Obama. Historical events make good movies and I am sure whomever it is that decides to make the movie will make millions and millions of dollars because not only did America celebrate his win so did many other countries. Ever seen that happen before? No not to my knowledge. Oh and I so think Will Smith will be Obama in the movie of his life but thats off subject, my dad says his son will play him when he is younger so both of our ideas together is a good look...lol...I do not know if it is just me or Will was looking like Obama in his movie 7 Pounds..lol..He has the ears, doesnt he?


But just a little note on Mr. McCain, he is not a bad man and I can not say that he would not make a great president. But he lost because of a few reasons. #1 He picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Okay so I guess someone is going to call me a hater but let me express why I say that. McCain had an excellent argument when he said that Obama did not have experience. A lot of people agrees and was very skeptical about voting for Obama, I watched television to hear all of the lastest news on both candidates because although I am a registered Democrat I like to make an opinion of both candidates regardless of party affliation. So once McCain announced Sarah Palin as his choice that argument went out the window right with his chance of becoming the next president. Lets face it she thought Africa was a country but yet she is suppose to be vice president, yeah that was a great look! If he picked someone with experience he could have better argued that Obama did not have enough experience. #2 Americans wanted change and the fact that McCain voted with Bush 9 out of 10 times just made it hard for him. I do not know how he could have done it but if he would have set himself away from Bush and the republican party he may have had a better chance. #3 History shows that after 8 years of one president being from a specific party it is very unlikely for there to be 12 years of that specific party. As in 8 years of Clinton then comes 8 years of Bush now hopefully 8 years of Obama and unless history changes 8 years of a republican candidate. So for now we have to just deal with wjat is being dealt and just hope that whomever is given the job of chief executive will do the best job that they can. But let me end on this note united we stand, divided we fall. Look around we look mighty divided and we have fell so the only way to stand is to unite and Obama already seems to know that uniting is the way to go so therefore I believe he will be an great prez..lol...But it will take more than him to fix the country just as it took more than Bush to screw up the country. So to be completely honest there are a lot of things in this world that I am tired of hearing about but I guess people like repetitive things. I think there are much more postive topice to discuss but since there are all these negative discussions I will just type my positive opinion on the discussion. Hate me or love me for what I have said either way you are thinking of me. :)

I'm shocked..its people like you who make anyone else who supported mccain look like idiots. and see I at first(yeah I'm starting to see him in action) did not like obama.. but when it came time for me to talk about it I was rational and intelligent.. after I had my spat with anger. now I don't like bush but I agree it isn't all his fault... he could have still tried to stop some of these messed up people around him... oh and a little tid bit of info you should know by now...the president is actually running the country...the only thing he has real control over is the armed forces... what did you think congress was? tiny...montego.... oh man you make me giggle...its a hoot reading you guys

well i am in the air force and i see it like this yes alot of people have gone to war and they are heros for going to war for this selfish country we call home, and theres no doubt about that. but the whole mccain thing to me it seemed like that was his whole thing "ive been to war, ive been in the military so please vote for me because i have experience" just because you've been in the military doesnt mean that you have experience in the government and i can tell you that from the horses mouth cause like i said im in the military for all most 3 years now. the reason why obama is popular and being talked about now is because first and foremost he is the first black president and a democrat at that and you gotta recoginize that YES that is a big deal. secondly its like he is all for "US AMERICANS" more than what bush was, now i never really dug bush from the get off but everyone makes mistakes, but not to the whole damn world dude really that how you feel...lol...
