In this life full of illusion about fame,money,and bitches...the truth needs to be revealed...sure 50 made it... do ur thing playa...but for the rest of you guys NEWS FLASH u AINT 50! Now i mean no disrespect to all u guys doing ur music thing keep on it but please finish school...Chances are 85% of you will never be heard and nobody is gonna care what ur name is cuz ur just another dumb ass tryin 2 live a dream that does not exist! Black men are so intelligent and they waste their minds on a game that does not care about them....too many white men are profiting off our people...they sell our style..our flow...our women...and they rob us of our culture!
Since when has our culture been about exposing our daughters and sons too sex,drugs,and crime? YES we are a freaky bunch who can endulge a lil too much in substances and we will defend ourselves at all cost BUT its not our culture.
I come from a world of fake motherfuckers...I SEE YOU...all of y'all with ur bullshit talking bout this that and the other...Nobody wants to hear bout how much money u made slinging ur shit making ur loot of others back...u think its cool 2 be a home wrecker cuz u just like that dumb bitch who chases after niggaz like u!(I say let a crack head be a crack head nobody should do time cuz another wants to get high....if ur bitch enjoys sucking dick and she a lazy ho then yes PIMP HER ASS,,,If you got a mooch who enjoys giving up their $ after being frauded time and time again well then hey...)But can we please stop taking advantage of eachother IT AINT COOL....IT AINT COOL TO PUT THAT YOUNG GIRL ON THE BLOCK CAUSE SHE OBSSESSED WITH YOU....IT AINT COOL TO TAKE MONEY FROM A SINGLE MOTHER ON THE PROMISE OF RECEIVING MORE...IT AINT COOL TO SELL TO THAT MAN WHO HAS THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD ON HIS SHOULDER AND IS LOST...THAT SHIT AINT COOL!!
What's wrong with our youth and I do not count myself out...Becomming a garbage man, a janitor,a lawyer,a doctor or an engineer cannot take the hood out of you or errase where you come from...where's the motivation in our community....as soon as we hear a hype beat we got all this energy to get down but when it comes time to really get down to business the majority of us rather take the easy road which leads to NO WHERE!!
I'm not saying not to follow your dreams but dont choose a path cause it benefited someone else...find ur own way...come out with your own style be yourselves cause right now all y'all cats are looking the same and it aint cute!

School aint for everyone......And sex drugs and crime are big parts of the hood so kids are not exposed to it its put on them....The music just gives people a visual they fuck up by taking it as more then music and thinking that shit is cool...Anybody from the hood can tell you that shits not cool its just the way of life...but if your dream is to make music so be it....Maybe Artists send a more postive message it might have an effect on the people who try to live the Gangster image but really not built for it.. and thats alot of people but the hood aint going to change everybody still got to eat and still going to listen to music they relate too..and the motivation for the hood been gone a long time ago.....explotation is the same everywhere job or ski mask just different ways to view it.....and yeah i got a degree and yeah i'm from the hood and if a couple things anit o my way i would probably putting on that ski mask right now instead of Commenting......GOOD Blog i feel you but shit is complicated and its more than music....

I FEEL WHAT YOUR SAYING!!!!....some people are going to hate on what you just said so...be prepared!!!!....those will be those ones your talking bout,....with the Peter Pan syndrome....lost in never ever land....its true black men all don't have to wanna be a rapper,because there smart with the english language(or)been threw a hood experience or basketball players cause their tall,etc...they could do more,- they chose thou to be closed minded and followers....in the end thou, i hope they make it to there dream, thou I/WE know its just a dream and "sleeping" their lifes away isnt cute,but hey maybe there wake up before it turns into a nightmare!!!!!!lmao...;)

Well,well.well!!! I say, do what u do, but at da same time, get an education!!!! U could still live your life outside of school and do school!!! Or if u can't do both, then make sure if u hustle...then hustle hard!!!!!!!! U gotta put away that money for da lawyer, and that money for ur canteen... u feel me!!!! And u better make sure when u come out u got $ to start over again and then some!!!!! If u can't do that... just go to school and call it a day! cause every drug dealer will go to jail if u a real hustler, so make sure u prepared.. and stack up that dough!!!!!

Everything you said is true ,but you also have to look at it from another perspective.I don't know where or how you grew up ,but where I'm from the chances of getting good schooling is limited becuz the schools is overcrowded and if you don't know anybody who been 2 college and finished how is that supposed to be a option you're thinking of.On the other hand you know some people who got rich of selling crack, a dude who get money of women,a cat that went to school for ball,and 95% of your hood know how to rap.Everybody wants to talk about young black men and half them aint been where we been.Niggaz honestly don't know they options or are denied so many just because of there situatioun.I was lucky that I joined the Navy and got away from all that shit now I'm out and its still the same.Seem like we gone be down forever and Obama aint gone change that.All I can say is try to get yourself straight and hopefully you got enough left to help your family and freinds.
